The Team 

With over 40 plus years’ experience I am still passionate about working in the Hair industry. I love all aspects of cutting especially short hair and being able to make a positive difference to someone. I am still excited to learn new skills and techniques and love to see our Young Professionals grow within our team. I have a passion for all outdoor fitness a must to keep those energy levels up!

I see myself as the Business Navigator, with a background in hospitality, accounts and account management I base myself at Front of House but with a watchful eye on everything else behind the scenes. I love people and being able to come alongside both clients and our team and share in their journeys, I consider it a privilege to be part of something that helps make a difference.

I am proud to say I am one of the original members of Team Sands and have loved watching it grow. I am a hairdressing all-rounder and love cutting, colouring and hairup. I love to encourage the passion of our young professionals and am currently training to be an in-salon assessor to help with their progression.

Graduating as a Master Colour Expert in 2019 has allowed me to enjoy my love of colour which I believe brings a lift and brightness into our clients’ lives. Although colour is my first love I do still very much enjoy cutting and hairup which is my next passion.

A chance meeting bought me to Sands where I have been for over five years now and I love being part of the team.  I have been hairdressing for some time but still love the relationships I make with my clients.

I love hair! I love anything Balayage, bangs, beach waves and creating those Instagram worthy looks. I love to learn and embrace new skills and value all of the courses I have been on so far which have given me a passion for creative and precision cutting. Outside of Salon life I am a keen concert goer, series binger and Taylor Swift fan.

Not only do I love doing hair but I also love building relationships.  I love all aspects of our industry and am excited to keep challenging myself.

I have been part of the Sands Family from the beginning and I love being there to welcome you. I love all things creative and am responsible for our “Sandsational” window displays and decorating our fabulous Christmas tree with over 200 baubles every year!!

Although no longer on the hair side of Sands I love being on Front of House as I still get to welcome and meet existing and new clients whilst working alongside some great creative individuals – it’s the perfect combination!

I am a creative person with great attention to detail which is why a career in hair is perfect for me and my personality. It’s a win/win!
